Snatch series 2 starts filming: The cast head out to the Costa Del Sol

Entourage star Kevin Connolly joins the show as a director.

The Snatch gang are back and they’re heading to the Costa De Sol for series 2 of the acclaimed drama series.

Filming on Snatch series 2 has started in Málaga, Spain and Entourage actor Kevin Connolly has joined the series to direct several episodes.

Rupert Grint (the Harry Potter films), Luke Pasqualino (Skins, Our Girl), Lucien Laviscount (Scream Queens) and Phoebe Dynevor (The Village) are all back for the latest gangster caper in the sun.

The first series of Snatch picked up several National Film Awards nominations, including Best TV Drama Series.

Snatch airs on AMC - BT TV channel 332/381 HD.

AMC is the home of incredible dramas including Fear the Walking Dead, The Son, Better Call Saul, Halt and Catch Fire and upcoming Ridley Scott series The Terror.

Returning for season two of Snatch will be Rupert Grint as the utterly posh Charlie Cavendish-Scott. Best known as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise, Grint also serves as an executive producer.

In addition, the series stars an ensemble cast including Luke Pasqualino (Skins, The Borgias, Our Girl) as Albert Hill, Lucien Laviscount (Scream Queens, Episodes) as Billy Ayres, Dougray Scott (Desperate Housewives, My Week with Marilyn) as Vic Hill, Phoebe Dynevor (The Village, Dickensian) as Lotti Mott and Juliet Aubrey (Iris, The White Queen) as Lily Hill.

In addition to Grint, the series is executive produced by Alex De Rakoff (writer/director of Dead Man Running and The Calcium Kid), who also serves as writer and showrunner, Aaron Ginsburg (The 100) and William Green (Ali G Indahouse).

In season one, the up and coming hustlers stumbled upon a truck load of stolen bullion, sending them into an insane scramble through the underworld of organised crime. In the forthcoming season, the team is on the run and what begins as a well-deserved holiday quickly becomes a face-off with a local kingpin and another thrill-a-minute fight to save their fortune, and ultimately their lives.

The cast and crew, including Alex De Rakoff, Phoebe Dynevor and Lucien Laviscount, have already started posting shots on Instagram of filming in Málaga.
