Pierce Brosnan’s highly-anticipated new TV series The Son will premiere exclusively in the UK to BT customers.
The Son will air on Tuesday 18th April at 9pm on AMC – BT TV channel 332/381 HD and to BT Sport pack subscribers on Sky channel 192.
Based on the best-selling and Pulitzer Prize finalist novel from Philipp Meyer, the TV series will be a 10-part saga.
The Son sweeps across 150 years and three generation of the McCullough family, tracing their rise to power as one of the richest families in Texas.
Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan plays patriarch Eli McCullough, a charismatic head of the family, who was kidnapped as a child and raise by the Comanche Native American tribe.
Henry Garrett plays his eldest son Pete, who struggles in his father’s shadow to forge his own identity. Eli’s granddaughter Jeanne is played by Sydney Lucas, who rejects her fate of existing to marry and bear children.
Eli clashes with wealthy Spanish neighbor Pedro Garcia (Carlos Bardem) and his ruthlessness triggers consequences that span generations.
The show will also feature the early years of Eli, as Jacob Lofland plays the younger version of the character who is raised by Comanche war chief Toshaway (Zhan McClarnon).
