The most stylish reality TV contest you’ll ever see is about to hit Netflix.
Next in Fashion pits some of the world’s most talented designers against each other in a bid to win a coveted prize – here’s all you need to know.
When is Next in Fashion on TV?
There’s no air date announced for Next in Fashion yet, which is still recruiting guest judges at the moment, but keep checking back for streaming information.
Next in Fashion’s first series is set to run for 10 episodes.
Who are the presenters?
Two very well-known fashion enthusiasts will be guiding us through the competition – Tan France and Alexa Chung.
Queer Eye fans will know Tan from his role as one of the experts who guide those in need of a lifestyle overhaul.
He’s the English member of the Queer Eye team and is a fashion designer, helping the programme’s “heroes” to find a new sense of style.
TV presenter Alexa Chung is known for her impeccable sense of style, has written books on fashion, and is a model and designer.
How does the contest work?
High-stakes competition Next in Fashion pits some of the world’s best, most innovative designers against each other in pursuit of a prestigious prize.
The 18 contestants are all fashion industry professionals who’ve worked for major brands and dressed A-list celebrities, but now they want to branch out on their own and make their name as designers.
Each challenge will centre on a different trend or design style that has changed the way the world dresses, knocking out contestants as the series progresses.
With the prize including $250,000 and a chance to debut their own collection with online high fashion retailer Net-a-Porter, competition will be tough to stay in until the final challenge.
But who will have the skill, originality and determination to be recognised as the next big name in fashion?
Judges will include celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart and Instagram fashion guru Eva Chen, with other guest judges to be announced nearer the time.
