Strictly Come Dancing is back! The BBC has revealed that Susannah Constantine will be stepping out on the dancefloor this year – get to know her a little better.
Revealed as a Strictly contestant: Susannah Constantine was the last of the 15 celebrities to be confirmed for series 16 of Strictly Come Dancing. She was a guest on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, August 21 when her name was announced.
Occupation: Journalist and TV presenter
Best known for: Susannah writes about fashion and style, but is best known for her TV shows with friend Trinny Woodall.
The pair shot to fame in 2001 when they fronted the hit BBC series What Not to Wear. The show saw them dole out style advice to the nation. They later moved on to ITV with similar series titled Trinny & Susannah Undress…, and Undress the Nation.
Susannah also had success in the US, where she and Trinny were regular makeover stylists on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Recently, Susannah, who had already published a number of style guides with Trinny, went on to release her first novel, After the Snow. She is currently writing its sequel, due out in 2019.
She said: “I hope to prove pigs can fly (dance). Sick with nerves and jangling with excitement.”
