Beach Body SOS

A spin-off from the beach body ready, smash hit reality series Ex on the Beach, this new series turns the Tablet of Terror into a Tablet of Transformation and swaps bed-hopping and bust-ups for sweat and tears.

Hosted by Vicky Pattison, the series challenges contestants to transform their bodies and boost their confidence with the help of an unstoppable team of trainers.

The series sticks two fingers up at anyone suffering from the false expectations of social media and cruel comments from partners and family members and has some staggering results at the end of three months intense training.

Here are five of the most emotional moments from the series so far…

1. Paige

Beach Body SOS

The 27-year-old mum-of-two had lost all confidence after having children and had resorted to binge-watching TV and binge-eating snacks on the sofa. She was so trouble by her own weight and figure that she refused to book a date for her wedding as she couldn’t face the prospect of dress shopping.

By the end of the episode, a tearful Paige had lost nearly four stone and had a date booked in for her wedding to husband Dan in the Spring.

2. Jourdan

Beach Body SOS

She used to be called "baby Beyoncé" by her mother, but the 25-year-old DJ and party girl was masking some serious issues with her confidence and weight.

Her party lifestyle was leaving her feeling insecure about her figure and looking at other girls on social media made her sad.

Thankfully, after three months with Team Vicky, she’d got rid of her "chub rub" and her insecurity complex.

3. Deano

Beach Body SOS

Proof that it’s not just women who suffer insecurity in the gym and on social media, cheeky chappy Deano was desperate to switch the flab for a girlfriend.

The good time lad’s boozy lifestyle was knocking his confidence and ruining his love life. However, by the team Team SOS had finished putting him through the ringer, Deano’s mates were stunned by his heartwarming transformation.

There’s also a final twist in the Deano episode that you’ll never see coming.

4. Paris

Beach Body SOS

Paris' confidence had been wrecked by bad man and scrolling through pictures of other girls on social media.

Paris was close to tears when she realised how her flirtatious selfies on social media were masking her deep insecurities.

Thankfully, by the end of the episode, Paris had learned to stop judging and was proudly sporting a bikini and smiling again.

Vicky Pattison's final verdict summed it up best: "You absolute babe, you give us life Paris, you're a goddess."

5. Becci

Beach Body SOS

This week's episode features the most tearful contestant yet as Becci opens up to Vicky about how her body has got out of shape in recent years.

She might be a member of three gyms, but as Vicky jokes: “You have to go to them for it to work.”

Will Becci’s story have a happy ending? You’ll have to watch tonight to find out.
