Big Hero Six makes a comeback with one-hour TV special

Disney movie Big Hero Six has been turned into a TV series set to air in the New Year - but not before we catch up with Hiro, Baymax and friends in a one-hour special.

The smash Disney hit Big Hero Six – about an inflatable healthcare robot called Baymax and a band of tech genius heroes – is about to gets its very own Disney Channel animated series.

What is Big Hero 6: Baymax Returns about?

This special television movie, Baymax Returns, will pick up from where the movie Big Hero 6 left off, bridging the gap between the film and the upcoming TV series to show how the robot came was brought back to life after sacrificing himself at the end of the movie.

In Baymax Returns, Hiro discovers his brother Tadashi made the chip that created loveable robot Baymax and is determined to put his best buddy back to in one piece.

Despite the help of the Big Hero 6 team, Hiro quickly realises that recreating Baymax isn’t as easy as it originally seemed, and before they know it they all find themselves in plenty of trouble.
