The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is just days away, and National Geographic (BT Channel 317/373 HD) is airing a documentary, Operation Royal Wedding, which will feature rare and exclusive footage of the wedding and the key players that pulled it all together.

Premiering on Monday May 21 at 9.05pm – just days after the wedding on Saturday May 21 – it promises to reveal what went behind this momentous wedding and to shine light on the unsung heroes that helped make it happen.

While so far specific details of the wedding are being kept firmly under wraps, Nat Geo confirms that they will have rare access to some of the biggest ceremony plays on the day including:

  • Britain’s Pageant Master Dominic Reid OBE
  • Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury 
  • Simon Brooks-Ward, organiser of the Royal Windsor Horse Show, 
  • Osborne House, the former ome of Queen Victoria on the Isle of Wight
