Here are our top 10 must-watch BT TV shows for February.
1. Broadchurch – Late February on ITV, ITV Hub and catch-up on BT TV
It’s been two years since the underwhelming second series of the crime drama and four years since the case of murdered school boy Danny Latimer gripped the nation in series one.
So will viewers care about the return of David Tennant and Olivia Colman in the third and final series of the crime drama.
Early reports from screenings suggest that the show has rediscovered some of its initial glow, resetting with a new storyline unrelated to Danny Latimer.
With a new case and an expanded cast for the final farewell to the stunning Jurassic Coast, it should be unmissable television. [
2. The Moorside – Tuesday, February 13 on BBC One, iPlayer and catch-up on BT TV
Sheridan Smith leads the cast of this controversial drama about the fake kidnapping of Shannon Matthews.
The show focuses on the community response to Shannon’s ‘disappearance’ and strips back the tabloid hysteria surrounding the story to explore the real lives and impact of Karen Matthews actions.
3. Football: A Brief History with Alfie Allen – Thursday, February 23rd on History, BT TV channel 327/379 HD and BT TV Catch-Up
The Game of Thrones actor, son of Keith and sister of Lily branches out into documentaries with this sweeping look at the history of the beautiful game.

MTV’s latest outrageous and wild reality series has an octogenarian twist. Following on from the success of Geordie Shore and Ex on the Beach, this new series sends some of the UK and America’s biggest party animals on a crazy holiday in Cancun.
So what’s the twist? Unfortunately for the youngsters, Gaz from Geordie Shore has arranged for one of their grandparents to join them on the trip. And most shockingly of all, some of the grannies and grandpas are even naughtier than the youngsters.

Parents can re-live some 90s nostalgia with an update of the classic coming-of-age sitcom Boy Meets World.
Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence are back, but this time they’re the parents and their daughter Riley Matthews is the centre of attention.
Tackling important issues for teenage girls, this Disney series packs an emotional punch and really taps into the highs and lows of High school.
7. Black Sails season 3 – Tuesdays at 10pm on History, BT TV channel 327/379 HD and BT TV Catch-Up
Toby Stephens is back leading the swashbuckling all-star cast of this epic pirate drama.
A prequel to the classic Treasure Island, this nail-biting and action-packed series features classic pirate characters such as Long John Silver and Jack Rackam and battles across land and sea during the Golden Age of Piracy.

From Kirsty and Phil to Homes Under the Hammer, there isn’t a shortage of TV shows about the joys of home-ownership.
However, this new UKTV series takes a very different approach, combining a traditional house-hunting format with a Don’t Tell The Bride-style twist.
The couples are split up and one member – usually the man, has the chance to spend a £15,000 deposit on what they think will be the couple’s dream home. Only when the pair are reunited can they decide whether to go ahead with the purchase or lose the deposit.
