A group of pampered celebrities will leave their glamorous lives behind this summer as they throw themselves into farm life.
The eight new farmhands will move in to a beautiful coastal Sussex farm, where they’ll be expected to muck in with feeding, cleaning, and maintaining the animals’ home for 10 days.
Farmer Chris Jeffery will award a Best in Show rosette to the most impressive recruit each day, but from day four, the celebrity who has struggled the most each episode will be sent home.
Age: 31 Occupation: The Only Way is Essex star
He said: “Never in my life am I going to give an alpaca a pedicure again, so it is kind of life goals.”
Age: 25 Occupation: Singer and reality TV star
She said: “If I am allowed, then maybe I might sneak out to see (boyfriend) Mike (Thalassitis, former Love Island star). I am going to have to see him a few times, maybe once if I’m lucky!”
Age: 49 Occupation: Dancer and TV personality
He said: “We’ve got an Essex girl, and we’ve got a Charlotte – them two are an absolute scream. Just watching them is sometimes better than watching the farm animals because they really do not get it babe, and I think that Instagram is embedded in their brain.”
Age: 53 Occupation: Gogglebox star
She said: “The only time I have taken off my jewellery is if I have to look after a baby animal.”
Age: 26 Occupation: Ex on the Beach star
She said: “Mud and dirt is just not me. It is not what Chaz is about!”
Age: 34 Occupation: Former Strictly Come Dancing professional
He said: “Dancing with the animals? Yeah, why not, let’s do it!”
Age: 67 Occupation: Actress and model
She said: “The show is a bit of both Emmerdale and Worzel Gummidge, adding some madness in and actually learning some stuff.”
Age: 29 Occupation: Olympic judo athlete
He said: “I am a true city boy. When we’re talking animals, I am eating these guys, not feeding them.”
