Hayley Hughes is one of the 11 contestants entering the 2018 Love Island villa. Find out where she grew up, how old she is, her Love Island connections and more below…
Who is Love Island’s Hayley?
Hayley is 21-years-old and hails from Liverpool. She is a professional model and won the Miss British Isles 2015 beauty pageant. Her model work includes appearing in commercial print ads and on ITVBe adverts. She also attends drama classes.
She will be one of the youngest Love Island contestants this year and claims to have “no filter”.
Is she related to Chris Hughes?
As far as we know Hayley is not related to past Love Islander Chris Hughes, but they do consider one another as real-life friends. She is also friends with 2016’s Love Islander Scot Thomas.
Hayley is followed by several celebs on Instagram, including Vicky Pattison and yet another former Love Islander – Katie Salmon.
What is Hayley’s relationship past?
Hayley says she doesn’t have much experience in relationships as she’s only ever had one boyfriend before:
“I’ve only been in one relationship, and only slept with one guy. I was with him for five years. We got together at such a young age, when I was 16. You just grow up and grow apart. It’s still quite raw.”
What does she consider as her best assets?
She considers her dimples as a big attribute, but also her winning personality: “My dimples are very unique and that’s a sign of beauty. I’m quite a loving person, and I always think about other people and their feelings. I’m not a selfish person, I’d say I’m very caring. I’m confident within myself."
What is she hoping to get out of Love Island?
Hayley says she’s looking for a guy on Love Island who has the whole package:
“I want someone with a nice personality who knows how to treat a girl. I want the package, not just someone with good looks. If he can make me laugh, that’s a big thing.”
Is Hayley on social media?
Hayley is on Instagram and already has a big following. You can find her at @hayleyhughes
