Charlie Dimmock showed off a completely new look this week when she was revealed as the new face of a gardening range.
The 49-year-old was almost unrecognisable as the horticulturalist who shot to fame on the BBC show Ground Force in the 1990s.
Charlie, who presented the show alongside Alan Titchmarsh and Tommy Walsh, was photographed in London while promoting a new budget range of gardening equipment for Poundland.
Speaking about the venture, she said: "I am quite surprised that so many people feel that gardening isn’t for them without giving it a try!
“Gardening doesn’t need to be complicated or overwhelming – making it, affordable and accessible it makes gardening enjoyable and satisfying: a simple hanging basket and window box is something that everyone can achieve for minimal cost and maintenance."
Charlie also recently spoke about the fact that she often did not wear a bra while filming Ground Force.
"People still comment on it to me. Some of them are male fans, some of them are female,” she explained in an interview a few years ago.
"It is sometimes just more comfortable not having a bra on. I didn't plan it."
