The Voice Kids UK is returning for a second series with the same winning line-up of all-star judges at the helm.
Find out more about the people who will be giving the show’s talented youngsters a shot at stardom with our guide to the coaches.
Popstar Pixie is a wise choice of mentor for any of the kids auditioning in 2018, as she guided last year’s winner Jess to victory.
Back for the second series, Pixie will be hoping to defend her title as the show’s champion coach.
The 27-year-old knows a thing or two about being a young star in the music industry as she was just 18 when she shot to fame with her number one debut single Mama Do.
Since then, Pixie hs had two other number one singles, three more in the top 10, and released three albums.
Away from the charts, she has starred in a West End theatre version of Breakfast at Tiffany’s as lead character Holly Golightly, and took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.
No one on the judging panel knows the show quite like Will.i.am, who has been a coach on every series of the original UK adult version since its debut in 2012 and has even been the winning coach on The Voice Australia.
Will first became famous as a member of the group The Black Eyed Peas, who had hits with Where is the Love?, I Gotta Feeling, Let’s Get it Started and Shut Up.
He went on to release four solo albums, and has had huge success as a producer with the list of acts he has worked with including Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, U2, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Justin Timberlake.
Will is also noted for his outlandish sense of style and in the past has released his own clothing line, as well as getting into the tech and digital industry.
Completing the judging panel is Danny Jones, one quarter of boy band McFly.
The group had hits with 5 Colours in Her Hair, Obviously, and It’s All About You, racking up seven number one singles and two number one albums.
Danny and his bandmates have a long association with fellow band Busted, even teaming up at one point as supergroup McBusted. Busted includes Matt Willis, husband of The Voice Kids UK presenter Emma Willis.
At the beginning of 2018, Danny and his wife Georgia Horsley welcome their first child, a baby boy called Cooper.
