EastEnders star Laila Morse is apparently swapping Walford for the Australian jungle after signing up to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 68-year-old actress sister of Gary Oldman - famous for playing Albert Square's Big Mo - was declared bankrupt in August and according to The Sun has signed a £60,000 to take part in the ITV reality show.

Laila - who has previously competed in Dancing On Ice - makes guest appearances in Albert Square after her regular contract with the BBC reportedly ended last year.

She will now have to face all kinds of creepy crawlies and terrible tortures for the celebrity reality show.

Other stars rumoured to be heading Down Under for the show include Westlife's Kian Egan, former footballer Paul Gascoigne, ex-Apprentice contestant Stella English and Coronation Street's Michael Le Vell.

Snooker player Steve Davis, TOWIE's Joey Essex and Rylan Clark are also heavily tipped to be taking part.

Bookmakers have made former X Factor flop Rylan favourite to win this year's show. The star, who won Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, is 9-2 to triumph in the jungle, ahead of TOWIE star Joey (5/1) and sportsman Steve (6/1), despite the show's line-up not even being confirmed yet.

Laila is an outsider at 20-1, with a spokesman for the firm saying: "If Laila is anything like her EastEnders alter-ego she will certainly rub people up the wrong way and we do not think that she will be troubling those at the top of the betting.

"Instead it is reality royalty, Rylan and Joey Essex, that head the betting and will be hard to beat."

Last year's series was won by Charlie Brooks who plays Janine Butcher in EastEnders.

The show starts on ITV on Sunday November 17 at 9pm.
