What's On

Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries

From the creators of the elegant Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, the modern Ms Fisher is every bit the embodiment of style, glamour and adventure in this all new crime drama.

It's 1964 and when the famous aunt she never knew goes missing over the highlands of New Guinea, the gorgeously reckless Peregrine Fisher (Geraldine Hakewell) inherits a windfall and must prove herself brilliant enough to become a world class Private Detective in her own right. Directionless and doomed to a series of unsatisfying jobs, fate has hit Peregrine's re-set button.

Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators

Jo Joyner and Mark Benton star in the delightful BBC series, coming to Alibi for the first time.

Private inspector Frank Hathaway (Mark Benton) has always worked alone. But Frank isn't doing so well. He's out of shape and low on cash. Frank needs a partner. Frank needs ex-hairdresser and people-person Lu (Jo Joyner). He just doesn't know it yet. The two eventually join forces and form a highly unlikely and hugely entertaining detecting duo. Frank and Lu quickly discover that all is not as peaceful as it seems in their pretty theatre town. The mayor is murdered, vengeful lovers stalk the streets and a magician's trick fatally misfires. Welcome to Stratford-upon-Avon, where low life criminals get caught up in deliciously high drama.

Two much-loved TV faces starring in a smartly-written 10-part crime drama with a literary heritage and a picture-postcard setting. What's not to like?

Motive

This Canadian crime procedural follows Angie Flynn (Kristin Lehman), an audacious female Vancouver homicide detective who matches wits with killers in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game. As she pieces together the clues of the murder, viewers are drawn inside the mind of the killer.

It's not a question of whodunit, it's a question of whydunit.

Murdoch Mysteries - S12

The latest series of the long-running Canadian crime drama. Murdoch's skills and innovative techniques are put to the test to solve crimes in the early 20th century Toronto.
