BT Music

Here are the BT Music highlights in January:

1. Party with Childish Gambino

Childish Gambino

TV fans will know him as Donald Glover, the star of cult comedy Community, award-winning Atlanta and upcoming Star Wars movie. However, Glover’s musical alter ego Childish Gambino is equally majestic and loved.

Childish’s new album is change of direction as he shifts away from rap into R&B, funk and soul in his most dazzling record yet.

With nods to Parliament, Sly and the Family Stone and Prince, this is a vital and joyous record to kick off 2017 in serious style.

Childish Gambino’s new album ‘Awaken, My Love!’ Is available now on BT Music.

2. One to Watch 2017

Ones to Watch in 2017

There’s something for everyone with Lady Leshurr, James TW, The Amazons and RAYE among the acts we’re expecting big things from this year.

3. Sean Paul’s latest smash hit collaboration

Sean Paul

The unstoppable Sean Paul’s sexiest party hit to date comes on a collaboration with Dua Lipa. An addictive party jam, ‘No Lie’ is going to soundtrack all your parties in 2017.

The accompanying music video is a hypnotizing hall of mirrors affair that’s the perfect fit for the tail-feather-shaking and sensual track.

The video for Seal Paul’s No Lie is available on BT Music from January 19th.

4. Sting still going strong

Sting

Sting’s rocking comeback with 57th & 9th was one of best surprises of 2016 and the former Police frontman has picked out one of the record’s standout tracks, One Fine Day, for his latest single.

The climate change anthem has a powerful message about the state of the planet and the incredible hand-painted music video is an eye-catching artistic treat.

Watch the video for Sting’s One Fine Day on BT Music from January 19th.

5. The James Arthur comeback continues

James Arthur

Most music fans believed that X Factor winner James Arthur’s career was over after personal problems and tabloid scandals appeared to derail his early promise and first record.

So when he hit the number one slot with Say You Won’t Let Go’ last year it was one of the biggest surprises and best stories from pop music in 2016.

His follow-up track Safe Inside is another potential big hit and the special music video combines Arthur performing in the studio with home family footage to make for an emotional and compelling watch.

Check out the video for James Arthur's Safe Inside from January 20th.
