Best known for: You’ll probably know Emma from her much less glamorous day job, playing EastEnders’ Minute Mart shop assistant Honey Mitchell.
Honey’s storylines have included her ill-fated marriage to Billy, and now she’s in a relationship with Adam but becoming increasingly suspicious over his closeness to Habiba.
When she isn’t serving Albert Square, Emma can be found treading the boards of some of the West End’s finest theatres.
Her past productions have included Chicago, Grease, and One Man, Two Guvnors.
Emma also does lots of charity work as patron of the Down’s Syndrome Association and Portsmouth Down’s Syndrome Association, and ran the London Marathon this year for Barbara Windsor’s Dementia Revolution team.
She said: “As possibly one of the biggest Strictly fans on the planet, I still can’t believe this is happening. I’m very much a dance around your handbag kinda girl, but now I've been given this wonderful opportunity to learn all the different styles of dancing from the very best in the business.
“So, I’m whipping off Honey's Minute Mart tabard and diving right in to all the glitter and sparkle. From Albert Square to the Strictly dance floor - I just can’t wait!”
